ENRICHING EDUCATION
Our mission is to enhance and enrich education opportunities for all students of the Canby School District through financial assistance and community involvement.
GRANTS
CEF awards grant requests from Canby School District's educators. Applicants are encouraged to submit grant requests detailing educationally enriching projects for their students, outlining funds necessary to accomplish these goals.
Following funding award, recipients follow up with the Board to provide project outcome and student feedback.
COMMUNITY
A closely-held community of 18,000 residents, Canby patrons willingly support local businesses, resources and education at events such as CEF's Evening of Giving, Taste of Autumn and Spring Fling.
CEF's annual fundraiser in the fall is attended by the public, all proceeds are are given back as grant funding for educators of the Canby School District the following year.
H.E.R.O. AWARD
HERO is an award presented to a community member with great passion, vision and generosity. Award recipients continually go above and beyond their call of duty while supporting education.
The award is presented in recognition of former founding CEF Board Member Roger Reif. We honor Roger’s history of community support and involvement by selecting HEROs that emulate his benevolent nature.
